Surface is the new tablet, made by Microsoft. The tablet runs windows 8 and has a screensize of 10.6 inches. In addition to the tablet itself, microsoft also introduced a cover aka keyboard/trackpad, which is available in multiple colors.
There are two different versions of the tablet: the consumer version and a business version. The biggest difference between those two is the processor, which is a lot stronger in the business version.

Facebook stops support for Google's Chrome and Apple's safari webbrowsers, not accidentally its biggest rivals in my opinion.
The main reason facebook does this is because of the restrictions on iframes in webkit browsers. These can cause problems with facebook apps.

According to statistics by StatCounter, Google Chrome is now the most used webbrowser, bigger than Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
